How my heart is breaking to have to say goodbye....but I know its only selfish to make them stay~

i was thinking of you yesterday tiedyesky. i've been down in the dumps since i lost my one lab. losing
all three so quickly must be heartbreaking.

they were beautiful dogs.

i hope you find some peace and comfort knowing they lived happy lives.

Thanks.... they were all rescues. Sparky was a fire victim (pet store purebred) Rommel was a runaway bait dog, and Pout was stolen by her master's brother and given to me to save her from animal cruelty.
The two lost earlier had hard lives before they came here...they probably left us younger because of it but I like to think that we gave them a great life once they met us. Sparky lived a long time....old girl was deaf, blind, homesick for the other two and we think she recently came across cancer, but we opted to let nature run its course until she started showing signs that it was time to intervene

It was time. It was the hardest thing ever, but I know we did what was best and right for her. In the end, I think she knew and was glad for it.

And for all the love we got from them........................GRATEFUL~
