Yahoo Registration begins Feb. 8th.

This will be year #8 for us.

As usual it will be $100 per team with all money paid back out.

Prizes will depend on the number of teams we get.

It's a basic 5x5 roto league with mostly Yahoo settings (we use hits rather than batting average) and we do a live draft (usually a week or so before opening day April 1st) depending on the amount of teams, we may add another player or two to the rosters (usually an OF or DH position)

We may have picked up a couple new teams from a football league I was in so it looks like we'll have at least 10 teams this year.

Hope to see all the old faces as well as a few new ones

We probably won't go to more than 16 teams so if anyone wants to get in please sign up here and I'll post all the details when registration goes live next week.

I am pretty sure there is a way to change those settings in the league creation.

It was not the settings that annoyed me. It was the fact that I would forget there was a day game.

Sometime during the day I check ESPN, and I missed the start of the 1pm games, and my guy was not playing that day. Now the line up is locked and guys end up on the bench.

PS. That was the first time I ever did a Rot. league.

PPS. I will let you know as the draft gets closer.

Dues are $100 a team and with 11 teams we'll do 4 payoffs

2.250
3.150
4.100

Naturally these will change if we get more teams.

If not I'd suggest splitting the extra $100 between 2nd and 3rd place.
Gives it a nice doubling effect.

1st - $600
2nd - $300
3rd - $200
4th - $100

Yeah, that looks about right. I usually try and get the winner 60% and the last payout gets their dues back. 2nd $300 and 3rd $200 makes sense.

Sorta.
Its my buddy Jon's team. (I've been short money for a bit) He drafted it and did most of the early stuff while I stayed completely out of it. But at some point when he was at the bottom, I started making suggestions and then slowly took over most of the day to day operations of it.

Yeah that was definitely my rant, although I had to clear it with him first

(Also to clear a bit up, Jon's backyard in Brooklyn is Siwat's front yard, so they've become good friends)

Jon said something about that. I haven't gotten the full details, but I think it did rattle him a bit, which is absolute crap.
I think he should have been more worried about the fact he ran out of innings and places to play his outfielders first

I vetoed the trade because I believe that an RB to WR is never an ideal trade, especially a workhorse RB; Plax is more of a WR3.

I wish Manny was in my baseball league! It usually takes 1/3 vote to veto. Means you were not the only one, but likely the last. Your logic is especially true if it were a middle of the road 1B for a star Closer.

I might be able to help you too, if I pick up the K point from Castro's too.

My team sucked, again.

I hate the early games. I would miss the start of a game and lose players who did not start that day.

By then end of August I was -25 for catcher. Awful!
