For our friend Scarfire, who had to put to rest his longtime companion and faithful friend, Cheddar,(a beautiful chocolate Lab.) recently....Mike set sail for eastern L.I. earlier this week for a little getaway, but i'm sure he's still hurting...

thank you for all the kind words clouseau, nancykind, elder, cur, Feesh, Joker, tyedyesky, Lemireacle, Tabbooma, megmyster and Spidergawd. i posted about her illness in the pet forum. she lived nearly 13 happy years until a tumor on her spinal column left her suddenly unable to walk and in severe pain.

here's a few pictures. the only traits that transcended her physical beauty were her gentleness and athleticism.
