and i really wish we could make the peruvian place work, too
or the ethiopian...
i am feeling all adventurous - except when it comes to wandering around trying to make the t work for me
i think we were very productive last night in gonzoland!

ia nice early afternoon lobster roll then a leisurely stroll through chinatown...
or whatever josh has set up for our itinerary
plus, a lot of the places we have pegged are teeny tiny so if we aim for off times, we will fare better, imho
i am excited! and kinda nervous...
i promise to be as adventurous as i can be
and yes, josh, i will try tripe (my stomach jumps as i type that )

You have tried tripe before Dee.....only a bite and i think you may have spit it out.....but you tried it.
What kind of food is Ethiopian?
Cant be to substantial......those folks are all skinny and starving.

Kidding but we...I mean you should work on getting Smiles and his sister to come. If needed I could drive down to RI and pick them up....means no drinking on my part but another weekend of that is fine.

I could take amtrak but I would likely need a place to crash... Preferably in a place I won't be murdered.
Also- are you guys going to pricey establishments? Because I'm literally on a homeless person's budget.
(but on the plus side, I'm not currently paying rent)

Like I said before, I prefer to do cheap ethnic hole in the wall places. Expect to spend $10 to $15 at each place...if that. We're doing 3 main places and a dessert for the hardest of the hard.

I'll have to get "permission" from the people whose house I'm crashing at- as they will have to watch my dog while I'm gone. I'm not banking on them saying yes as I am crashing here for free- and in their eyes I should have no business doing anything that costs money (reasonable)
maybe I could convince Justin to watch her if he ends up working... Hrmmmmm
Posted 13 August 2012 - 02:58 AM
I'll play it by ear- if I can find a place to crash + Justin can watch Cadence (my dog), I can just say I'm crashing at his house with her.
Otherwise, its the "pity me please" routine.

And Eco, Chinatown has tons of vegetarian/vegan friendly dishes. Hell, they invented tofu.... (i think??)
Just let me know what time/place you plan on invading in Chinatown. I'll be there...

jess, will send you a pm as soon as i hear something, ok?
