Ok kids...it's official. I'm coming to Beantown!

Looking at food crawl get together on Saturday, August 25th. Who's in?? I'm so psyched for this. What an unexpected treat!!!

Would it be crazy to start at Belle Island and move on to Chinatown??

You sure about China town? The prostitutes and jerk off booths moved when they cleaned it up 20 years ago. How about Mattapan for some culture?

Yeah I'm in if we can hold it in Drugchester (Dorcester). Gotta mix up the dining experience with a cultural experience minus the $100 a meal at some places that are full of stuck up c words found all over the money areas.

Just a thought, it would be cool to tie it in with maybe some live music if people can stay out late. Plenty of good places in close by Cambridge, assuming Boston has some as well but there I stick mostly with Irish music at the Black Rose.

Not sure I can spend the last weekend of the summer in town, but if I'm around I'm in. If you need a getaway driver through the ghettos of Dorchester, there's no one in our group that knows em better than me. ..well Joker perhaps, but I bet his reflexes are less primed.

Boston has a really good public transport thingy so moving around is pretty easy SOBER.....drunk is another story...plenty of stories about that. Dorchester and Mattapan (sort of the same area) are excellent places to visit since they are melting pots that never boiled. Dozens of cultures.....maybe hundreds living it up and enjoying life. Fear of either place is sort of silly unless someone walks with fear and then they become a victim. Thinking of it.....might not be the best place for an all white crowd after dark if people don't flex their style.


Southie can be fun as well and while I hate to stereotype.....SOME residents can be more unruly after several drinks and cause shit that can ruin a night quick time. The North End is sort of mellow with great food but those smart Italians don't give their food and booze away without you taking out a second mortgage on your home.....

Regardless of where it is held I'm in.....with hopefully some live music afterwards.

Roxbury=yes JP=no the gays took over most of it and the only sucky thing about the area is driving slowly to check out their nice homes and landscaping. Oh and the f-ing people lines up into the street for whatever trendy coffee spot is serving up something that was mentioned in some random publication.

FYI - Coppa is an easy walk from Chinatown if you feel like swinging that. Another place you should really consider is Myer's and Chang, which is an even closer walk.

Oh yes! An epic one I can't remember since I was kicked out of most places. Anyone else here can fill it in, it goes to the north of the Prudential building....has all of the rich folks shopping places.....bars every 50-100 yards. Only thingy is that equals a hotel for visiting people or a wild drunken ride home.

Call tomorrow. It is a very small place; only about 50 seats. Depending on the size of your party, you will need to call well in advance. Actually, I don't even think they take reservations. Two hour wait times aren't uncommon on the weekends.
