[HABIT]

The job Market sucks, in NYC some days there are only 300+ jobs posted and realistically maybe 10 to 15 of those are something that I can apply to, and 5 of those are at least a huge pay cut. WHERE ARE THE JOBS?

I'm actually going to apply at a mini veg/fruit stand tomorrow knowing they are probably going to pay BS but I'll fuckin wash your car at this point.

I use INDEED.COM, MONSTER/HOT JOBS, and Careerbuilder, what do you use?

and whats even more depressing the SMART emails that NY sends to you at least 2 times a week via email, I haven't received one in 3 or 4 weeks, I contacted them and they said there's no jobs w/ your qualifications. 4 weeks.

I have to say, the one market that I haven't had trouble finding a job in, especially in CT, is working as an engineer. Depends on your willingness to get back to school but even just a two year A.S. degree can land you a pretty solid job. That's how I started out. Now I'm finishing up my Masters and trying to get into a PhD program. Two years goes by fast, man....specially as a student.
