Unfortunately have to take the previous weekend off for a friends wedding so we will not be able to make it to this years vibes but I have recently been introduced to Gogol Bordello and that would be an amazing addition.

Gogol Bordello was one of the highlights of Austin City Limits 2010 for me . won VIP passes for the weekend singing the state farm insurance jingle. They seemed to play festivals I was at but always missed them. But was able to check them out from scaffold on side of stage. Instant Fan, great band, Man I would love to make my way from Motown down to Vibes this year especially if Furthur is on the bill, Logistically a bit of a cruise. Might be hard to convince the wife to make the trek, I need a line-up before I can even attempt to persuade her, We did Rothbury in 2008 and 2009 and had a great time but this Electric Forest just in't doin it for me.

Sorry breh, I don't wake up and drink coffee until the headliner of the day appears, so yeah, the late night is when I begin my night. Gogol Bordello > 8 hours of loud drum circles and vuvuzuelas would be my ideal lineup. Then when the bands start playing mid-morning I go back to sleep.

Gogol Bordello is fun, but I wish they had a more improvisatory approach . . . When I caught them at Webster hall I was a bit disappointed that they sounded just like the album. Which was good but . . .
