i walk dogs for a living and i have 3 different maxs

1-big max (german shepard)
2-devil dog max (just cause he's a crazy puppy)
3-whiney max (probably self explaining, he's a whiney shcnauzer, but i still love him)

btw- these are my nicknames, the parents don't know that's what i call them

i got two kitties last year

they are both orange but one is darker and one is whitish, almost like he got puffed with a powder puff.

well we started saying things like "the red one was snuggling with me last night" or "which one did that?" "the white one"

and now their names, almost a year later, are

red one and white one its kinda sad but i dont know what to do, what else to name them (obvi or i would have already) and they answer to their names

its not "the" red one, but their names are actually "RED ONE" and "WHITE ONE"

We've got a Smokey (cat) and Annabelle (cat) but we hardly ever call them by their names

Smokey is usually fat cat (he weighs 30lbs) butt nugget, smokes, tank

Annabelle is usually kitten, munchkin, lovey, annabanana

& 1 slightly used pre-named dog Angie (after the Rolling Stones song) She's oftenly referred to as the Schnuffoo-up-a-goo..... especially when she's being a super lovey phreak all rollin' around and what not....

I named my pyrenese Max - he's a pound dawg who they named Ghost, but he didn't respond to it - I promised my Mom if I ever had another child to name it Max (girl or boy) for my Mom who we called Max, because she always signed her name Ma x (with a "kiss" - get it?). Needless to say, I haven't had any more kids so... My daughters name is Maggie, she's an actual human daughter

3. Bella

I'm surprised it isn't #1. I have a Bella - she was 14 months old when we adopted her and she already knew her name VERY well so we didn't change it. We've met a lot of Bella's since getting her. At the dog park, there are always at least like 5, out of 30 or so dogs

my labradoodles name is Casey Jones.

I have a Casey Jones kitty. And I have a Quincy so we call him Quincy Jones
