i am sure it was him in 2009, i was hammered (really?!) walking out on the field and when i said hey, you're Paul Simon! he walked very quickly away with a big smile...
he'd make for a very nice sunday. saw the thread today for hangout fest and he's there!!

few things; one:
the only people who would ever say something like that in that manner clearly have never been to bpt. lol. but, secondly - and more importantly:

but why stop there? simon and garfunkel did a tour a few summers ago - or were supposed to (i think one of them broke a wrist or something and the tour was rescheduled; the outcome of this, i don't know) - so it might not be too far of a stretch... if not just paul is more than fine by me.
and does anyone know if the facebook top 5 application has/had anything to do with booking acts for this year? - or was that just a poll for fun?

Bonnaroo is just kind of 'meh' this year. Only Buffalo Springfield (with Neil Young and the others) and Dr. John and the Original Meters interest me.
I will attend Lollapalooza, GOTV, and 1 or 2 other festivals this summer. I'm waiting to hear about Rothbury or something else.

I agree with you on Bonnaroo. I like the Mountain Jam line-up...haven't pulled the trigger yet. I did book a room for Rock & Roll Resort. That line-up is pretty good as well.
And there is always StrangeCreek & WormTown!!
