God hates Catholics.
They're going to picket with signs that say that at the little girl's funeral who died in Tucson. I'm all about free speech...but this is unacceptable. She was 9. She was murdered. How heartless can you be?

I agree with you DHJ.
And the less attention paid to these nutcases, the better.
They are just looking to piss people off in hopes that someone will violate their civil rights so they can sue.
It's all about money, and unfortunately, they've been rather successful at what they do.

im argueing how anyone can say what is "rioght" or not. thats all.
protesting the murder of a 9 year old for personal political gain is not right

Unfortunately, when it comes to this group it's best not to remain quiet. People need to rally together in any community they plan on visiting to counter their presence. They will (and have before) leave the site of a planned protest if they are overnumbered.

and even without those credentials, it seriously does not take but a split second for any reasonable person to consider, and conclude that this young girls funeral is clearly not the place for Fred and his group to show up.
that being said... I fucking dare him to show up...
I think in this case you might find that tolerance will be set aside and some crazy fucker (with a right mind) will put freddy down for a nice dirt nap.

obviously, it is not that simple, because there are protestors.
But it is simple. These protestors have the right to protest, but their motives are wrong. They think they are correct, but they're not. Plain and simple.

We asked her what value she finds in protesting the funeral of an innocent child senselessly murdered by a gun-toting maniac. Her response made even less sense than the rest of what she spewed during a 20-minute phone conversation.
"We're connecting dots for you rebels," she insists. "[Greene] was appointed when she was born for this -- she just happens to be the one God chose to make an example.
"Once the child enters hell, it's over for her," Phelps-Roper rants.
look, i am not defending WHY they are doing it. I am defending their right to do it, even if I think they are a group to be pitied.

I heard the citizens of Tucson were planning on constructing sets of 8'x10' "angel wings" to screen the protesters from the funerals. I also see that Arizona lawmakers are creating legislation that will bar protesters from coming within 100 yards of the funerals.
