What's the story behind your choice of the design?
Just curious is all...
It's no secret that I love and revere reggae music.
More importantly, it's for my son Jacob who will be two on 3/11. He's my little lion. It's like how the anchor is for my other son...who truly is my anchor and keeps me tied down and aware.

It's on. I've got a consultation this week for another. It's going to be a custom piece based on my oldest daughter's likes and personality traits and how they tie into me. This one's going to be fun.

Dood you have chicken skin. I like the bonding experience, happy dads day
Thanks Dave. This one was for her and she was involved in the whole process. She picked out the design and finalized it. No matter what it looks like, it's for her, and by her, and that makes it special.

I had my daughters footprints put on when she was tiny

Long ago, a sailor would get a swallow tattoo after successfully sailing a certain amount of miles (obviously a great deal of miles, but I'm not sure exactly how many).
This was definitely a factor in choosing the swallow. I've covered many miles recently...
