how things seem to come together out of nowhere...
shortly after joining this forum I posted a thread about the difficulty of getting into the program that would allow me to hire my own PCAs in order to allow me to be far more independent. I was told it could be a very long time before I get into the program, 1 to 2 years minimum.
The last few months I've become increasingly frustrated because it had been more than a year and I still hadn't gotten any word on when or even if I would be off the waiting list.
Well after one of the best weekends of my life, and the chance that I had to solidify one of my best friendships I've ever had (some of you met them), I get a call this morning and I'm in.
I have a meeting tomorrow with the company that will be handling my payroll services for me, then they just have to fill out some paperwork and verify the number of hours I have, and I can start hiring.
Let me just say:
wooooo-fuckin'-hoooooooo!!!!
