crzay to go from 9o degrees on thrusday to 65 on friday, back to 90ish on Sat..

i almost forgot that Friday was filled with rain! The rain was great...at first it was a bummer but we just changed our mindset and the rain ruled. VIP was key for this. definitely recommended!!

No. It sucked. It was a wasted day sitting under a tent and changing wet clothes.

i did not enjoy the day of rain as much as i would have enjoyed another day of no rain...but the weather was good overall for the weekend...

I sat on that field from 1:30 - 1:30 or so, and with proper rain gear the only thing wet was my feet. It was not optimal, but you have to EMBRACE THE WEATHER, or so says Wavy Gravy.

No rain gear? Next time use a garbage bag like Tabbooma did and if you do not have one, you can always get wet while you walk to Tabbooma's to pick up a large garbage bag. ;) Sorry you lost a day

If 1 day of rain was the cost of the rest of the weekend being BEAUTIFUL, I'll take it!

My rubba suit was key :jamguy:
A little moist in there by the end of the day, but kept me dry all day.

i was only going to bring the one, but figured the other might get lonely staying home by herself

tabbooma has given me a good idea though...i should try to get another pair in a different color so that i can wear a different color on each foot!

jnjn was stylin' in her red boots.

The only time the rain sucked was when I was on a moving golf cart, because it would come in sideways under IASW's poncho. Driving a golf cart through the mud was hella fun!

It was wonderful falling asleep to the rain on my tent at 4 a.m., but I was less thrilled to wake up to it at 8. I had enough layers of coverage that I didn't get wet. There is no bad weather, only bad clothing. These sneakers are officially retired.

Driving on a golf cart to get to production row was kind of treacherous, the mud got reallyyyy bad before they finally got some straw/plywood on the ground. I fishtailed while trying to get to & from artist check in at one point but that was the only really bad stretch. I also didn't have a headlight on my golf cart so I put my lightsaber in the cup holder....yeah, having golf cart abilities was pretty rad haha

All in all, I didn't mind the rain, really. I would have been bitter if had been colder, but I was able to walk around in shorts, tank top, & boots [and umbrella] just fine. It wasn't super windy either, which was a plus.

The Rain was AWESOME!! Great to cool down and rock out! We hadn't seen rain in 30 days so it was beautiful for us!

i'd take the heat over the rain anyday. The heat is oppressive, but drink enough water, use enough suntan lotion, bring shade and youll be fine. Rain kills a festival. So few people are still walking around. The mud on the field sucks and the hay on top smells horrible. And there is a potential for music to be cancelled.

Friday was rough on me for a few reasons. The rest of the time was good enough to make up for it.

The worst stretch was from the office trailers to the Ops gate. #1s of the Jedi golf cart?
