So I have been looking for a wedding cake that I can eat.

I need a sugar free cake with sugar free fondant. Let me tell you that has been a hard thing to find.

But Cake Alchemy from NYC that is on the tv show Amazing Wedding Cakes is going to make me a turtle cake with a tree mosaic in its shell!

I am so excited. I get to have my cake and eat it too

The splenda is not bad, it has a different taste but I'm use to it.

I'm not serving cake to the guest, if they want sugar free they can have it. But I'm having a cobbler and Hawaiian pudding made for everyone else. :)

I used to watch that Amazing Wedding Cakes show religiously. Then all the people switched and I lost interest.

That is awesome that you are getting a cake from there! They make good stuff! I watched them make that honey bee cake!!!

Woo hoo! :ura1:

I am very excited.... and to be honest it is not costing too much. It is more than I want to spend on a cake but very excited to have a sugar free cake .

I love the work she does with blown sugar....

I know...she's awesome at it! I laugh when she's super picky and does stuff over 80 times, even if it means working on something for like, 2 days. She's a nut!

While they are not cheap they are affordable for a small cake for you and the groom and have a different cake for the guest....

Since we are not serving cake but rather cobbler and rice pudding it works out great. Our cake is $250.00... sugar free, and yummy for me :clapping:

Her work is amazing.... I was so impressed with her as a person. She was kind, polite, and very helpful in giving me ideas how to enjoy foods that a low in sugar.

I would recommend her to anyone ever looking for a nice party cake.
