[Kashmir]

.....and I miss it already. Well, I miss most of it.
I finally made it to a boardie picnic (the tail-end of it, really), drank my first Hurricane and par-took in a helluva feast at Camp Velcro. I saw wonderful, beautiful friends....old and new and share in this fabulous gathering of beings.

It was great meeting boardies.....way too many to list!!

Then I arrived home this afternoon, excited to be reunited with my pooch, Dakota Sioux, to find that my apartment was broken into
They only took a small flat-screen TV, thankfully.
Oh well, I'm not gonna let that slow me down. I'm gonna keep the good vibes flowing

Oh!!! And I didn't even *mention* the music!!!
So good!! Of course I love Primus so Saturday night rocked my face off my face. RMB was fun and sunny. Deep Banana Blackout kept the funk going. Phil was great. I kinda wish I followed him up the the Ramble in Woodstock on Saturday
I blame Bobby for the rain....sorry Bobby but you know its the truth. Mad Rabbits on the Green Vibes stage was a pleasant stumble upon. And Dopapod was great. So so so much more but I can barely think straight

Safe, back at the ranch. Car's unpacked.

It was a beautiful weekend of love, friendship, music and fun. As ever, it was a little too long, and way too short.

Wonderful to see so many friends, and to put a bunch more faces to folks I know on the boards.

Other than wonderful and sometimes overwhelmingly beautiful time spent with my honey (yep, barf, I know), my three favorite moments of the weekend all involved Nancykind...seeing her pedal past on her bike, the smile on her face when we happened to be waiting in line as she got off of the Ferris Wheel, and seeing her dancing up on the VIP stage.

I've said it before, and I'm sure I will again...I love you all very, very much.

Home too. Easier drive in that direction. Want to thank the boardie crew for giving me a choice spot and helping us meet our great new neighbor friend. I am very sad it's over. Seems like it just finds its stride and then it's done.

My Vibes started in the best way before I even got there and just kept getting better. I got lots of really nice hugs, had some high times, hung out with that girl today ....it was nice

Finally home, car unloaded, most of the stuff is put away, showered, laundry tomorrow. Waiting for the a/c to kick in & then off to bed.

Had an amazing time, stayed until the end thanks to Gotroot's recommendation to stick around for the Avett Brothers (you were right, Don! ) Tabbooma, Chris and I were the last of the Velcronians to leave.

Why do I have this urge to set up the canopy in the yard, pull out a chair & listen to music?

Hahaha. Funny you, Josh. Nah, my dad worked for a record company.  I'm over it....it sucks but my weekend was great and it could have been MUCH worse. Kashmir was happy to see Tabbooma. Seeing Tabbooma helped build America
