...setting up my tent and canopy, enjoying the fluffy crystal GREEN pastures of Seaside park, maybe cooking up some eggs and bacon on the Coleman portable grill. Cans of Sierra Nevada and Harpoon would be chilling in the cooler for a lil' later. Greeting friends who I haven't seen in a year.

I'm back from my walk, met some nice kids from Kalamazoo who were spun out on bath salts in West Camping. Gonna head back there after dark to see what kind of shananigoats them kids get up to.

Getting back to camp, I see Nancykind, and I give her a HUGE (gentle) hug. Then I open up the cooler and crack the first ice-cold beer of the day. Sit on down in camp and pass around the water-pipe filled with lovely, harmless tobacoo.

Think I'll head over to the GV stage to catch the beginning of the music, see how the crowd is developing. Boy, I'm sure glad it only took me a few minutes to get in this year.

Lunch time! Taking some chicken salad out of the cooler and making a nice wrap with some onion, letttuce, and fresh tomato. Maybe some crunchy cheetos on the side for orange fun. Cracking another ice-cold beer and chillin' in the camp. Maybe a nice after- lunch walk around boardie camping to see who's showed up since I was last here.

It's pretty much the only good thing about Fantasy Vibes.

I really hope they fix the issues with ingress from last year. I showed up before 8am on Thursday and it took about 6 hours to get in. Unacceptable.

Alas, I'm stuck at work dealing with one of the most hectic days of the year. Ya sure let's stay on this conference call for another 3 hours repeating ourselves cause we are on the West Coast and have no empathy for East Coast festy-goers. Oh look, there in the parking lot.... that's my car and it has 2 huge coolers filled with icy delicious alcoholic things... oh and look, here's my ticket and boardie camping pass on my desk. fancy. .. ooooh and I bet DSO isn't too far away from a sound-check!

I usually implement a no beer before noon policy. That way I can make it until after midnight.

When I went to Bonarroo the first time, the guys next to us knew of my noon rule who also had a keg. They would call out to me at noon every day, "It is noon, or beer O'clock".
