I'm here and just checked on this. The non-official official answer is yes, bikes are allowed in the concert area. We rode ours in last year. If I hear different info, I'll post it.

A bike sounds like an amazing idea. How far is the walk from farthest campground to the main area?

i dont mind that there were bikes in the back of the soundboard on the concert field, but once there were crowds of people on the field, i thought it was terribly unwise and disrespectful of folks to take their bikes right up into the throngs up front
from my vantage point on the rail of the vip platform, i saw more than one person driven over, gouged by pedals, etc.
use your heads, folks...if its jammed with people, perhaps leave your bike chained up on the fence?
common courtesy, no? :dunno:

its along the same lines as the chairs on the field...complete "its all about me"ism with a total lack of regard for other folks :plain:

ok, end rant

Having a bike there would have been fun. The boardwalk is a pretty long walk.

Michelle Wit had a folding bike, which completely blew my mind.

Thanks! I love my bike and I'll never do Vibes again without one. Totally saved my ankles and knees so had so much more in me to dance. Had no problems getting it wherever I wanted.

"Had no problems getting it wherever I wanted"

What about in the rear?
