Got an amazing email this morning, resulting in a flurry of phone calls and emails. If the grant is awarded, I could begin work this fall as a trails consultant for the Prevention Research Center at UNM.. expanding the successful Step Into Cuba model to rural communities in Sandoval and Rio Arriba counties, in NM. The program is essentially preventing chronic disease by increasing physical activity. FINGERS CROSSED!! Could be huge!!!
