yeah I can't just sit in his room constantly anymore. I made sure that makai or I were always there but the nurse told me he won't be regaining consciousness again...

When I just told the doctor that the nurse woke me up at 4am with the "imminent" prognosis, the doctor said "he did?!" he wasn't even my nurse or nurses assistant but I never found out if they told him to wake me up. Oh well, moot point now. I still like TEO's definition.

That's good... he'll know that people are still there. And if what I'm told is true, he can still hear you as well.

he's gone.... i am both very sad and very relieved.
thank you all so much for the love and support and songs.
my dad loved the grateful dead. i took him to his 1st show in the mid 80's at the long beach arena. he said, "now i'm one of you!" we did a lot of family shows over the years.
