Late 40's old school rockers with little tolerance of house music and the cowd that comes with it.

There's a reason we migrate to the Rock every year pretty much for the last 10. Its old and stinky and plays rock and roll just like us.

No, I mean.... You know I'm Mr. Picky Snob...I loathe that culture. It's not the Palms...it's grown to be pretty upscale while having a sense of humor. It's the flotsam and jetsam of the Strip in the best possible way. The location rocks...

good to know, the not-the-Palms selling point. Thats exactly what I mean.

One time in the last ten I had us change to the Madalay Bay when that was new and big. It was nice. Pool was awesome.
But it was a hike to get to the rooms (we usually get a suite so we have a place to hang) and every night we ended up at the Rock's central bar anyway.

Back to stay the next.

Do you have balconies at the Hard Rock?

That's what I love about Cosmo...it's tiny compared to the others. 10 minutes from Strip entrance to your suite. Maybe 15 if you stop to check out the hot Asian chicks in the tight pants.

We hardly ever leave the hotel.
Saturday we'll rent a cabana and get blasted poolside.
Saturday night we sometimes realize we should eat and venture out for an awesome steak experience somewhere.

I overlook the pool...with the fountains in front of Bellagio. 50+ stories up. There's decent live music in various places...classy burlesque.

And I threw the idea of upgrading to the Cosmo, but was predictably shot down immediately.

 

A bunch of the crew is going in a couple of weeks to Vegas with their wives for my one pal's weddiing renewal party. We can't make it, but the point being is thart they're all staying at the Cosmo.

Evening Tom. I'm holed up at home in hermit mode. This weekend, then next weekend at home then three weeks out...Toronto>Vegas>San Diego/Oceanside... I have a German wheat bear upstairs that I think I need to open now.
