But hell, I've abstained from everything for the last 3 weeks, including coffee, while I cleared my head and crammed for my exam.

A wee scotch on the beach during the sunset, holding her hand as the sky colors drift to the blue hour. Of course the moon rise is upon us and, it is time to stroll back to the house. We meander as she points out I did not do the dishes from lunch and, I am smoking too damn much. I just said I like cigarettes, nothing here to see lets move on. She said , who is cooking tonight?
I said I would after I do the dishes. Then I fetched me a large scotch, a smoke and, went out on the deck.

I suggested the terry cloth robe made her look a bit more full to the eye. She went back inside, I had another sip, a cigarette, and, looked at the moon.

I had the lads working on the house this week, I like to offer a snapper at the end of the day but, Friday I kick them out. They all say they are not scotch drinkers but, get through a fair amount. Pay day, out!

No I did not. Funny though how I have a couple on the rocks at home and I'm toast. Catch me in Vegas in a couple of weeks and I'll throw back ten, twelve in a night.

4 weeks after this last post me and my buddy Johnny Walker Black got in a little fight in Vegas. Weren't on speaking terms until just recently.

Hey TASB. Good to see you over here by the way. I have been going to the other forums, mainly cause you stuck to your guns and all, but man I get tired sometimes of bouncing all over.

Anyway, what ever takes you there, right?

Low energy? I'm a pretty high energy person. My deal is usually calming myself down half the time, but when the body or mind is dragging I grab a cup of joe. Black and strong, like my women.

Today was my last official day at my job of eleven years....
THey are keeping me 'connected' for another week on payroll in case there are questions about the work I have transitioned to a collegue.

Yeah, I know this is a rant but the thread title spoke to me

I figure the pretzels would slow down my wine numbness so I went 'sans pretzels'.
