I'm only going for the day on Friday. I've been reading about horrendously long car-lines for entrance. I'm bringing young kids- no way they can wait in the car for 3+ hours.

Does anyone know if there is a separate entrance for day-parkers v. those camping? Or would wait times be the same for both.

Trying to determine best options for transport/ shuttles/ hotels, etc.

There are separate paking lots for day ticket holders with shuttles. There should be signs on your way in directing you to them. By Friday, most of the influx should be settled down so the wait shouldn't be too bad.
