I fell asleep. Attacked it on Friday instead.

:clapping:

I started some rudimentary upper-body strength training today. It's a good thing my computer keyboard is below my shoulders, because it's going to take a lot to get me to raise my arms now...

Ugh! I hear ya. I did arms last Friday at the gym & they felt like wet noodles the next morning. Brushing my teeth was an effort. Took a break over the weekend, heading back tonight after work. And I was down 1.4 this week! :ura1: I swear, if I didn't see a loss this week, someone/thing was gonna get punched. Thankfully, everyone's safe now.

Damn these weak triceps of mine. The plan is to work on upper body and core with weights, and let cardio be my lower body workout. My calves are beefy enough as it is from supporting my body at peak weight.

And congrats on the loss this week and not punching our esteemed WW leader in the banana.

For the benefit of those of you not in on our inside joke, Mel and I go to the same WW meeting. The leader is great, but he got a bit too excited when he told us how the PointsPlus plan meant bananas were zero points. Being the mature adults we are, we giggled and continue to make penis jokes six months later.

Here is a poptart cat farting a rainbow to cheer you up! :gop:

We all have weeks like that. Don't beat yourself up!!!

Today I am STARVING, and dammit, I only have 7 points left.

I hate that I have made healthy choices all day, and now I can't even snack on anything later, because my dinner will most likely take up the last 7 points.

I had yogurt - 3 points
almonds - 4 points
udi bread - 4 points
turkey - 2 points
snack size bag of chips - 4 points (oops)
my stupid cream and sugar for my 2 coffees today - 4 points
cashew cluster snack hoo ha thing - 2 points

Grr. :bang:

Stupid coffee fucks me over all the time. I can't drink it with splenda. I refuse. I used to, and that shit is nasty. I can't drink it without sugar, and I use half and half. GRR.

I know I should have held back on the chips, but I wanted salty with my sandwich, so ratfarts.

I've had strawberries this morning, and an apple this afternoon.

For dinner we are having salmon burgers with rice, but I will probably skip the rice, obviously, and have salad.

*sigh*

I wish I had like, 70 points. :rolling:

Have you tried Truvia as a substitute for Splenda? I use a touch in my tea and its pretty good. (Its really sweet so don't use a lot!) Still use Spenda in coffee or brown sugar. Liking the way the brown sugar tastes in coffee and I tend to use less of it than white sugar for some reason. :dunno:

Dinner...salmon burgers.

try cutting your sugar back a 1/4 of a spooful at a time. You'll hardly notice and then you'll be able to cut it in half. I used to only use sugar (black) I started using soy creamer and no sugar lately

So I'm 2 weeks into my "getting my flabby self back into shape" project. My bi/triceps are sore, but its the good kind of sore so I'm cool with that. Unfortunately, I think I pulled something in my left shoulder and my quads hurt so bad today I'm shuffling around like a 90 year old. :undecided:

I hate this part... when you first start getting into a workout routine and your body is screaming "No, no no! Get back on the couch! The pain, THE PAAAIIIINNN!!!!" Doing my best not to give in to it, but its tough.

I damn well better show a loss tomorrow when I weigh in or someone's gonna get hurt. :plain:

Now who's got my heady walker??? :joker:

I can't believe it but I lost 2.2 this week bringing my grand total to 18.8!! I am .2 away from my 10%.

I'm shocked b/c I really did badly this week- a few nights of heavy drinking and lots of eating. But I think sometimes it's good to shake it up a bit to get things moving again. I will get back on track NEXT week after the 4th weekend.

Day 7 with my 30 day turn around working out, 4 days working out, then rest one. I have lost 1lb, it's a start. I told myself just 30days give it a try and see what happens. So far it hasn't been easy working out hard every day. I'm definitely more tired then usual. On a positive note I feel a bit stronger and I did loose a 1lbs which is better then nothing.

For a few months now I was watching what I ate, keeping to a strict cal count, and what not. That only got me down 15lbs and 5 I gained back. So I am taking it up a notch. I think it will be beneficial for me to break this stump I'm in.

I get 31 points. I've already used 7. I really need to stop putting sugar in my coffee. :ravn:

I measured it out and everything, and 4 tsp (for 2 coffees) is 2 points, 4 tsp. of cream is 2 points, and my yogurt is 3. Already up to 7.

I have strawberries and a clementine to munch on...0 points! :ura1:

I think for lunch I'm going to have a salad with some turkey. :)

Dinner is steak fajita salad. Our plan is to take Martin for another walk tonight. I was sweating balls last night when we went. Oofa!

I've had a rotten couple of weeks. Way too much stress & way too many bad things happening to people aorund me. Points, portions and exercise have been the furthest things from my mind. Went to my first meeting in weeks this past Saturday and I've put on 4 pounds since the last time I was there (I think that was July 4th weekend) and while I realize that's not too bad, I also know it can turn into 10, 15, 20 very easily. I don't want that to happen since all it'll do is get me more depressed.

Here's hoping I'll have good news this coming Saturday. Doing OK so far this week.
