2.9 lost this week!
I think I really like the new points! FREE FRUIT! I am now going to make more citrus salad. I cut up grapefruit/oranges & put in a big bowl.
In the morning I portion out some into a tupperware to bring to work and add one apple a day to it. The juice keeps the apples from turning brown and they are very filling.
Love a zero point breakfast!

Although I'm not doing weight watcher's I'm down a little over a pound this week. (I tacked 8 on over the holidays lol....whoops guess drinking daily didn't help)

My kid is in the kitchen making a hamburger and it smells so yummy. I am so glad I ate that fruit and I'm not hungry right now cause I am not so sure I could resist!

I'm back on the WW as well. Not going to meetings & I'm using the old point system (it's what I know). Down 5 lbs this week! :clapping:

Sara - I try to eat veggies for snacks to keep the points low - carrots & hummus, celery sticks, etc. air popped popcorn is a good one-filling & pretty low in points. Soup too - do you have the recipe for 0 point soup? It's basically broth w/ veggies. Also I get Nature Valley trail mix bars - yummy & only 2 points (under the old system). I have those a lot for breakfast or a snack

I hope it wasn't too bad of week for you......

I tell you I was happy to notice that my tummy wasn't as big as it was last week.

I've been taking the steps at work (up to 6 flights depending on the class) and walking the hill to get to the school is insane work...

I've taken to eating apples everyday..... very filling and not bad in the sugar if I choose them right

According to my home scale I'm the same I was last week. I'm very curious to see how I do at the official weigh in on Wednesday.

I made a big salad and 0 point soup on Saturday for the week. I'm eating lunch at a Thai place today so need to research to see what my best options are there. :wink:

Good job everyone for losing and staying with the diet!

As long as we don't double our efforts come Super Bowl to make up for it. :funny1:

My big thing is that I need to get back into an exercise routine. The cold weather kills me because its hard to find the motivation to go out into the cold & go for a walk. :undecided:

But on the bright side, a pilates studio opened in my neighborhood and I'm planning to go investigate. Crossing my fingers that their rates are reasonable enough for me to start taking some classes again. :)

I did not lose. I think my 3 coffees a day are to blame.

If I still used splenda, it wouldn't be a big deal, but I think splenda is gross, and I use sugar, and well, unfortunately, sugar is not 0 points. :lol:

I have truvia in the cabinet, but once you are used to sugar, the alternatives don't really taste that good.

Hopefully next week will be better!!! :)

I'm weighing in today- should be interesting. According to my home scale I went up .5 from last week. :undecided: I'm not too worried b/c of GeminiMoon's story about losing a small amount in the first week then doing better the next. I know it will all work out in the end.

I feel a little lighter but I did some ab work last night. I'm also going to an hour of yoga right before weigh in so I'm sure that will help my weight go down quite a bit.

I know that I have followed the program to a T this week and was once again astounded at the amount of food I was eating before I started. No wonder I'm a lard ass!!! :funny1:

On an unrelated topic, I've once again learned my lesson about reading labels carefully. I won't go into details; just remember that "servings per container" does not mean "serving size". :undecided:

Well, I faced the music, and I'm up 4 pounds in the last two weeks, for a total of 5.8 pounds up since the new year started.

Time to hit the reset button and start over.

Down 1.6 this week, but that's only a fraction of what I put on last week. I'm hitting the reset button as well. Had a chat with my leader after the meeting & he gave me some suggestions: more protein, I need to hit my points target (apparently, I don't eat nearly enough), and I desperately need to get back to exercising.

Oh, you're 100% right GMoon! And that's how I'm taking it... I was very pleased this morning when I saw the loss. But I do need to get myself back on track in a lot of ways. I've been very erratic for the past few weeks and its caught up with me. I'm taking today as a fresh start & doing what I can to start moving in the right direction again. :smile:

opps only -04 his week......but it is down and not up! :Phishfolk:
Ate out 2 times this week and made crappy choices when I did. My orginal goal was 20lbs by Feb1st GOAL MET!

New goal = 15lbs by June 1st.
thats about 16 weeks from now so @ 1 lb per week I can hit my goal. As long as everyweek is a loss I will win!

The last few days I was really hungry and ate 20 extra points for the week, but that's what they are there for. :clapping:

I scaled my points back a bit on Saturday after my weigh-in from Hell. We'll see how it goes... think I'm going to have to behave on Friday night.

Good job everyone! From Thursday-Sunday it was all kind of a wash for me. Starting with breakfast out, then losing track of points during the day, lunches at the in-laws house and lunch at Panera yesterday probably didn't do me much good. But I'm tracking everything to a T today through Wednesday, exercising and not eating over my points. It's still only my second weigh in so I'm curious to see how it goes. :wink:

I was very proud of myself today..... my school had an entire day of catered food and I did not eat any of the dishes that were there. It was all heavy Italian foods.

Not much of an appetite, having been drinking lots of coffee, and coughing is a good workout. :lol:
