.. to when the due date was to have them back. April 20th.
We were sure someone would have. Of course, we are still missing *one* certain somebody's response card.
I can't believe how close it is.
I"ve gotten over 80 responses for the carriage house. I still haven't thought of the perfect party favors for everyone... I guess I should get on that huh?
Tiffany? What are you doing? If you don't mind me asking. :)

I'm actually thinking about going shopping for honeymoon clothes. I haven't been on a real vacation like this since I lived at home. That was 15 years ago.

Williamsburg VA. Gonna do some grown up exploring.
Figured it was a really good vacation for who we are. I am a history fanatic and he already knows everything there is to know on this earth (((((stupidsmartboy)))) A vacation that the kids wouldn't want to be on anyway. Ya know what I mean? They are too young I think for Williamsburg.
I love to read everything and I will need the whole week just to get through the town. Can't wait.

Thanks mama. I"m so excited for YOU!!!
do you have to have favors? i always feel obligated to take them because they spent money on them for the sole purpose of me taking them.
unless you WANT to do them........what are you thinking of having? are you going to make it yourself?

Yes, I love to give. If it were up to me, we'd have giant piles of gifts for everyone. It's special to me. I was thinking on the lines of *goodie bags* Little purple bags full of purple goodness. :)

Even though we're not doing them, I had a few ideas
There are these really cute plantable paper heart favors that grow wildflowers and to go with them, we were going to get some honeysticks. It kind of all ties together you know?
Then we had talked about doing those little cinnamon heart candies that you get around valentines day? And putting them in little organza bags.
There's always the choice of a candy buffet...bunch of little vases with all different kinds of candy in them. You can get baggies or they have little chinese take out boxes and guests can pick the candy they want :)

Thats cute. But it's dark in the carriage house and everyone will be jamming out to really good music.
The wildflower thing is AWSOME. But that would be more for the folks in the castle. 40 VS 140 ya know?
We went with really cool very expensive favors for inside. (Only needed 25 of those, so we went with what we really wanted, which was so damn pricey there is no way we could have done it for everyone)
I'm just trying to figure out something super cheap for everyone else.

Todd wants to get *tickets* that have umelt on them and then our names and when and where. Those are so cheap and pretty funky. I could put those in the goodie bags.

tiff, a few years back i helped a friend out and burned 150 lightscribe cds with all sorts of mushy music on it for her to give as favors. you don't need to scribe them OR do mushy songs but it barely cost anything to do. you can get whatever you need to do it on sale and it will cost almost nothing.

They're like .50 each or something.
BTW, did you get an invitation to a so called *luncheon*? Silly people.
I insisted on NOTHING, I don't want gifts, I don't want cards..... I told Kerri NO, but the MIL didn't even ask me, she just said, "What are you doing on the 25th?" And said, ok GOOD, you're booked.

Thats totally why I love it.
I am finding that no matter where I take a picture in my house, there is a hoop in it, or a umelt poster, or a kitty or things, just showing who we are.

I love getting to share in the excitement. I'm glad Wende didn't say "no" to her MIL, even though she said "no" to me.
I'm glad to borrow a little flower girl for a night (she's sleeping and I should be). Tie dye cupcakes are cool and Em, hearing about them, wants them on her next birthday.
I like the ticket idea.

My girlfriend's wedding was an overnight thing. For the favors she had gift bags filled with breakfast bars, juice boxes, mini water bottles, those starlight candies (red and white striped mints) and mini candies. I thought it was a great idea and came in handy for the ride home the next day!
I have to say, the candy buffet idea is adorable! :)

It's like, grow up hun.

-Where are you registered?
-We're planning to spend the night in our van. Is it cool to do that at the castle? I remember people camping there in the past.

Yea, camping is in full effect for this night. Lynn and Randy are gonna have a nice big bonfire going all night too. They are so awsome. There is no place i'd rather be doing this.

Williamsburg VA. Gonna do some grown up exploring.
When I went down for Phish last month, me and my friend Douglas spent some time in Colonial Williamsburg. We had brunch at this AWESOME seafood place across from William & Mary - I'll ask him what the name was.
There's also a killer candy shop right down the block. ((( fudge )))
Douglas and Kittyrocks talked about how Williamsburg was both their parent's honeymoon spot too
