My Best Friend is Getting Married this Weekend ~:)

OMG I'm so girly excited :dance: I'm laughing at myself at how excited I am :funny1: I met Diane in college and just knew from the moment I saw her that we HAD TO BE FRIENDS!!! Here we are over 15 years later and she is finally settling down with an awesome guy. He just happened to get a place in my home town years ago and that is where they will be raising kids. YAY Diane is going to have kids JUST LIKE ME :funny1: I can't wait until they play sports and do Rock Rivalry. It's almost as good as me raising kids there. Okay back to the wedding. She called me last week screaming in her Queens tom boy accent that "WHO THE FUCK KNOWS THAT YOU NEED A MARRIAGE LICENSE TO GET MARRIED!!!" :lmao: MAN was I dieing at that one. Yeah Diane you need a license. I can't remember if I knew that when I got married but yes that is usually common knowledge :funny1: Get your ass to the court house pyscho and get one. NO don't fire your minister for not telling you that. She probably thought you were just like everyone else and knew you needed one :funny1:

So I'm preparing for the wedding. I'm washing my face twice a day so no pimples pop up. I will wash my dress and get a black shirt for underneath in case I get warm. I need to get a good card.

Last week she invited me to sleep over Thursday night and I'm all girly and can't wait for the sleepover with another friend who I also just had to be friends with in college. He moved away to San Fran and I haven't seen him in years. YAY!!! It's like old times :clapping:

My only problem is the shoes. As usual. Woman shoes suck :bang:

I had the BEST time w/ my oldest friend's wedding. Helping her plan, and get ready and all the excitement in between :heart:

I'm just waiting for a few friends to start planning their weddings now so I can get my fill again :blush:

I've been out of the age of when everyone gets married for a while so this is my first wedding in a long time. I can't wait. I think I can feel my ovaries just thinking about it.

if you are wearing stockings with open toe shoes definitely has to be nude (and sandletoe...ie not the kind with the reinforced toe thats a slightly different color) ... another option is many nylons now come in open toe style (they are same as normal but have the toe area cut out so the toes stick out) .... check a macy's type place for them (or if you have outlets near you check the hanes/leggs one)

I need the honest answer THANKS :lol: I'm an idiot when it comes to this stuff. BUT I thought enough about it to ask. I was going to pass along the idea to someone else too. I rarely wear dresses in the cold weather so stockings are foriegn to me. Depending on the day I could get away with no stockings. I know wrong answer again :lol: Okay nude with control top and no toe thing. My two choices of stores are JC Penny and Walmart. Unless I go to the mall and I usually just drive by these places. I DO HAVE some black closed shoes too. OH I think I'll facebook the chic who gave me the dress. I wore it once before in the summer with berks. Not going to get away with that this time.

to be honest for 99.999% of weddings you can get away with no stockings as well (for me exceptions are very religious type weddings who would frown upon bare legs in church ie orthodox anything or if you are wearing a mini-skirt type length)

i would check out walmart or a cvs/duane reade/ walgreens etc for the open toe type they may have them and I :heart: control top!

I wonder if I will ever out grow getting sick before a trip that I'm excited for. So far I got my first eye sty ever, two pimples, my heal has a growth that is killing me and I have a cold and slight fever :lol: FUCKIN FEVER!!! It's the same since I went to sleep away camp as a kid :lol: I know I'm getting old because I usually just have to worry about the slight fever :lol: A FUCKIN STY!!! :funny1:
