Oh what fun. This week, I got the unity candle, handmade through EBAY, except the little old woman that makes them and was selling them on Ebay, was a neighbor so we were able to cut out ebay fee's and paypal fees and shipping fees. OH wonderful.

I'm getting my daughter a sweater knitted in my colors as we speak, another little old lady I met at a craft fair is doing it.

The walking stick for my officiant is DONE being carved, except we havn't decided on what *personal* message we would like to have put on it. Any suggestions, I"m looking at you KERRI!!!!!!!!
Should it be OPA? Or Friend? Or Thank you!?

I can't believe how much we were able to do HOMEADE!! I kept my wedding as personal as possible. And if I knew then, what I know now, my dress too, would have been homeade by the seamstress that is completely redoing my dress. I can't wait to see it when she's done!

Now all I have to do is switch around the flowers a little bit. I'm not going to go with Orchids for everyone, just us girls will get the orchids.

What fun i'm having.

We should plan a Sat. for centerpieces too. :)

I'll run the carving idea by Mik (gone to a rehearsal right now).

The stick came out really nice. It's definately not one of a crazy artist, but it's personal. It's very native american like. It's real nice. I hope he loves it.

I'm not too worried about centerpieces, like lynn said, there is not very much room on the tables. I just htought it would be a nice touch. I am however a little worried about after party gifts. :( still haven't firmly decided on those.

we're also up to smaller things..yesterday I took my dress to a tailor to get taken in, in a few minutes I'm going to get my last pre-wedding haircut (i figure that since my hair ALWAYS ends up shorter then I like when it is cut, I should leave enough time to grow it back a little).

Also today I'm going to go check out lipstick colors and nailpolish colors at CVS...I'm thinking a deep red would go nice with the navy on my dress.
