I think I have a cyst

on the side of my index finger. What kind of dr should I go to, to have this checked out. I know all my primary is going to do is refer me to someone else & would kinda like to avoid her co-pay & go straight to the source

why do you think your primary would refer you to someone else? (re: what to do, I'd've probably done bleeding cupping on it, already, but I'm home surgery network meets Chinese medicine on me like that; I do not recommend you try this at home)

She is strictly an internal meds dr. Oh, I would never try to get rid of it @ home. There is a vein over it & when touched, is very painful

Call your primary and ask ! When I had a cyst in my boob, my primary did a needle aspiration on it - took all of 5 minutes.
