sugar-free chocolate is a good substitute.

what about raw cocoa beans? that seems like it would be right up your alley, right? i know it doesn't taste exactly the same..but, it's a healthy alternative.... P.S -Hi my name is Heather and I have a chocolate addiction too.

I will also raise my hand.

Lately I've been trying to feel good about when I eat chocolate...so I make chocolate covered bananas. It's still chocolate (mixed with some reduced fat peanut butter)....but there is a BANANA inside! It's healthy, right? ;)

yeah heather i eat raw cacao. and there are lots of antioxidants, which is good. but it is also a nerve stimulant, which isn't so good. and the fact that i feel like i need to have it everyday.. i need it to make me feel good, is a little scary.what is it about women and chocolate? why are so many of us hooked?

I stock up on chocolate when I go abroad..... I am down to my last bar (I brought like 4 back the 1st week in feb... so about 1 a week - and he eats half!) and I am thinking that maybe this time I shouldn't re-up! I think that if you are eating a good quality chocolate (and in a normal serving - ie a few squares... not 3 bars at a time) then its not so bad however if it is making you feel out of control then that is more of an issue than the actual chocolate itself

they say chocolate and sex have the same chemical reaction in the brain...or something to that effect.

Hi, my name is Heather (also) and I too am a dark chocolate-aholic.. I love the dark chocolate cadbury mini eggs. In fact, the whole easter season is responsible for a good 5 extra pounds on my bottom if I am not careful.

I have discovered that red grapes are fun to eat when you are craving chocolate. They are nice and cold and pop in your mouth.. I still want chocolate though!!

my friend Richele leads a sugar detox and it's awesome! She's the sugar momma. www.richelehenry.com

It's all over the phone and online. I had some major breakthroughs. I hardly drink alchohol any more and I don't eat huge chunks of cheese...I actually pretty much cut out dairy all together. I didn't think it was possible and it was easy. She really gets into why you feel you need the sugar and how you can add sweetness into your life in other ways. Her goal is to help as many people as possible get off sugar. She is an amazing, caring, passionate woman...and another IIN grad!!!!

This is Taraleigh:)
