until I saw prices. Holy cow! I don't know if it's a west coast thing, or if the market has changed that much, but any pre-vanagon type2 is selling for almost (or sometimes more than) $10k!

yea, anything in good shape it over 10K and real resto is about 15k often.
(mine is getting stage 1 rehab, the front end and suspension right now, yay)

there are plentful buses type 2 on the west coast for cheap that are pretty much rust free, california is over proced go north or to arizona they have them for cheap. Might need mechanics but what bus doesn't. Unless you have some fab skills find yourself a bus out west, I have seen some nice ones for 4 grand out west where here in the east you could easily pay 12 for
