i'm tired of the store being out of the all natural artichoke dip and want to make my own but i've only found one recipe for a cold dip so far. i know it's not nearly as common as the hot artichoke/spinach dip for which i already have recipes but i thought i'd ask :)

here are a few... i only googled so i can't vouch for them :)
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups Ocean Mist Large Artichokes, chopped
1 cup parmesan cheese
1 cup mayonnaise
garlic powder to taste
Directions
Combine equal amounts parmesan cheese and mayonnaise. Add garlic powder.
Add diced Artichokes and combine with cheese mixture. Artichoke Dip may be served cold or heated 10 to 20 minutes in 350 degree oven or until cheese is melted (do not heat in microwave).
Serve with pita chips, baguette bread slices or fresh vegetables.
Ingredients :
2 cup sour cream
1 x (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
5 tbl white wine
1/2 tsp garlic
1/2 tsp salt
Fresh ground pepper
2 x (6 oz) jars marinated artichoke hearts
Method :
* Mix sour cream, cream cheese, wine, and seasonings until smooth. Drain artichokes and chop; stir into sour cream mixture. Chill thoroughly. Serve with vegetables.
SPINACH ARTICHOKE DIP
1 large sour cream
1 box frozen chopped spinach
1 jar artichoke (puree)
1 envelope savory herbs with garlic
1 bag shredded Italian cheese
2 fresh baked White Mountain breads
In a medium to large saucepan, heat the sour cream add the frozen spinach (does not need to be thawed). When both are heated and mix well add the jar of pureed artichoke, mix well add 1 envelope of Savory Herbs with Garlic; mix well.
Add the whole bag of shredded cheese and mix well. When the cheese is melted and well blended, remove from heat.
Take one of the White Mountain Breads, and remove most of the center, creating a bowl-like interior. Pour spinach dip into center. Freeze for an hour (for speedy and cold dip).
Cut the removed section and the second bread into small pieces and place on tray around bread-bowl.

* 1 cup mayonnaise
* 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
* 1 can or jar (12 to 14 ounces) artichoke hearts, drained, not marinated
* 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
* 1/8 teaspoon onion powder, optional
* 1/4 cup minced roasted red pepper
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients; spread in a pie plate or shallow 1-quart baking dish. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Serve cold or heat in the oven for about 10 minutes at 350°. Don't reheat in the microwave or dip might separate.
Ingredients
* 1 1/4 cups mayonnaise
* 1 1/4 cups sour cream
* 3 3/4 teaspoons uncle dan's classic ranch dressing mix (this is a dry mix in a packet or envelope)
* 10 ounces frozen spinach, thawed &, squeezed of liquid
* 1 (6 1/2 ounce) jar marinated artichoke hearts, drained, chopped
* 1/3 cup diced red onion
* 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves, crushed

Mix all ingredients in bowl.

Let dip sit in refrigerator overnight to meld flavors.

To serve: Slice top off a loaf of round bread and hollow out,leaving a 1-inch shell.

Spoon dip into bread "bowl".

Serve with thinly sliced baguettes.

Note: The artichokes are slippery to chop, but worth the effort. Remove and discard any tough artichoke leaves when chopping.
