any one have a tried and true recipe? he loves buffalo chicken tenders, honey BBQ chicken etc and its getting expensive to buy the pre-made ones ($10 for like a bag of 10....better than take out but still)

Ideally I would like to make up a batch on a weekend and freeze them so he can just heat them to make a meal when I am not around or as a snack on the weekend etc

deep fry or oven roast wings or tenders
for hot sauce, i use Franks - see lable for recipie, but it's just some melted butter and the hot sauce. Texas Pete is also good.

honey bbq - add honey to store bbq of your choice.
i have some good bbq sauce recipies , but most take a few hours to cook.

That's it. Perfect sauce. If you want to make your own chicken tenders,
you have to get some chicken breasts, cut them into small pieces, any
size you like really, batter them and deep fry, until desired doneness.
Wings are self explanitory. Coat with sauce. Both reheat well. But are
best when fresh.

also, bj's sells the same tenders .. much better deal.

i use franks and honey on my wings, bake on 375 for about 1.2 hours or until a glaze forms, basting the whole time.

well definitely not what I would call healthy eating but they were delicious - and we ended up making a few versions of sauces - basically mixing all the bbq and other hot sauces we had in the fridge together in different blends

this was my basic recipe model however I didn't use a deep fryer - just oil in a pan

any of the above will work and while no ones looking splash em with a bit of tobasco.
They'll be the best ever tobasco is the missing link.
Take it from me I don't leave home without it

OMG, I made THE BEST buffalo wings last night!!

(((Frank's red hot sauce all the way)))

They weren't tenders, but wingets.
You just cook em' in the oven for the desired time & then toss them in the sauce. It's really the best & most tried & true way, putting it on towards the end rather than during. Amazing off a grill.

We have a great one,cut and bread the chicken tenders then we mix store brand buffalo sauce with a dash or two of jack daniels hot sauce, to taste. As the chicken tenders are cooking brush on the sauce. one brush over is usually mild 2 brushes over about 10 min apart is hot

Kens buffalo sauce. made them this weekend and sold some to a co-worker.

And I will have to try that.
I can't wait to be making buffalo, BBQ, & Teriyaki on the grill this summer.
