I moved out of my VERY small place in Dec into a huge house w/ twice as much space. I finally now have an office/reading room. I'm so overwhelmed w/ paper-clutter-stuff. I haven't aquired any new stuff since I moved. For the life of me, I don't know where all this stuff was in the small house & now it's everywhere in the big house. I've been trying to tackle it all day & I feel like I'm getting nowhere. I need Clean Sweep to come help me out. I finally get a room ot myself & have nowhere to go in it!! :undecided:

I'm ready to pay for you to come.

I keep walking in & out of the room sighing. I'm so disgusted w/ the whole thing.

Patchoulia.............

I don't understand how you haven't been thrilled beyond belief at my house...

That being said, Spiderweb... Good luck. I can only tell you to take it one room at a time...

I watched that show, and the other one where they helpe poeple hoe out one year, and ended up with 12 bags of clothing and stuff for the Salvation Army and a bunch of stuff for the dump. Seems it is time for another round.

Spiderweb: Is this REALLY a job?? Cleaning/organizing someone else's stuff? Lucrative? WOW.

Kimmy: I just assumed you liked it that way...

Patchoulia, how much are you proposing to pay, in order to touch, fondle and move my stuff?

Sorry. That's not how I roll. People pay me to touch, arrange, move, fondle their stuff.

They don't pay much. But I'm cheap.

Can I come visit this weekend? Oh! The fun we'll have!!!

Unfortunately, you can't just walk into someone's house and say, "Hey, can I organize your house while I'm visiting? How bout just a drawer or two? No?" some people might be insulted by a statement like that...

:)

my friend does that...www.omworks.com

I did a sugar detox and then all of a sudden I hated clutter and cleaned the car, closet, cabinets, everything...and my system actually works now. I got rid of 2/3rds of my stuff and it feels awesome!

I can't stand clutter - I clean out every 3 months or so. My hubbs is a pack rat - drives me nuts!!

I am the anti-pack-rat. I get rid of whatever I can, whenever I can. If it hasn't got an immediate and discernible purpose, it's gone. Sure, there have been times when I've said, "I wish I hadn't thrown _____________ out!" But that doesn't happen very often. :)

Me too, but lately I've come to the point where I am seriously sick of keeping stuff I don't use, and I've been throwing shit out! :woohoo: This weekend I plan on doing a mass clean of everything, and I'm making a goodwill pile and a throwout pile, and I can't wait until it's done, because I'm going to feel FANTASTIC!!!

Clutter = anxiety, and I hate feeling anxious and overwhelmed.

Update...things are getting a bit more organized. I've been trying to focus on one thing @ a time which for me is sometimes hard since I need everything fixed NOW. LOL.
