I've been using Smart Balance butter and when I was at the grocery store the other day I found Smart Balance peanut butter!!!

My only question is, is it healthier than regular peanut butter?

I don't know if it's much healthier, but I couldn't stand the taste. It was pretty pasty for me.

I think I have bought this before (but it had a green cap....so maybe creamy vs chunky) and I was ok with it... definitely didn't have the same taste/ texture some natural PB do though - this seemed a bit closer to "conventional" PB but it did kinda dry out and get a bit weird at the end (also I used it to set a mouse trap when I was having an issue in my old apt. and I think that because of that it grossed me out to eat it)

also as for healthier it is good to get omega-3s however know what I do about processing of most products and the chemistry of omega's (extremely unstable and susceptible to oxidation due to the double bonds in the carbon chain...which is what makes them healthy) I wouldn't be surprised if by the time you actually used this product the omegas were all oxidized (we have been talking to / working with this other company who says they have worked on the stability which is really cool and interesting... http://www.lifesdha.com/)

basically in theory its good but in real life unless you are eating it with in days of of being processed its probably no real difference from other natural PBs

My friend Lauren from IIN uses this - the chunky style. She really likes it. No, actually she loves it.

I havent tried it.

We've had this before. I like it. Lately we've been buying Stew Leonard's peanut butter. They make it themselves and it's all natural and so tasty! :bliss:

I had no idea about how long the omega's last. Thanks! :)
