I've decided what I want to do with my time. I want a baby, someone elses baby, AND I want to get paid taking care of this baby. I would love it and feed it and oh the play time we would have.

I just need to land that position and i'll be a happy, content mama.

Ooo, I wonder if acquiring a foreign accent, would help landing such a position?

All best towards in your quest for that which makes you content.

i'd LOVE to pay you vs the sitter i have now.
i'd LOVE magnolia to have you help raise her every day.
i'd LOVE you to not live so far away.

Me living so far is really starting to dampen my life. :( I've been missing out on so many opportunities lately. :(

well, like I said in the other thread. if you guys do move down closer to us we would love you to be Evan's Nanny too. I'll probably start looking for a job in a couple months. hoping I don't find one too soon. Nanny pay from regular working folks isn't great, but if you watched Magnolia and Evan together it would be worth your while.

Nanny pay in Manhattan and Westchester is $10-$16 an hour off the books with 2 weeks paid vacation a year. People are dying for nannies who speak clearly and are smart. In Manhattan you don't have to drive. You do in the buroughs. Alot of people need live-in Nannies too. In manhattan, nannies are cheaper than daycare, believe it or not.

if you'd drive for it - i would open my house for both kids (kel and i live about 2 miles from each other)...... but i'd also bring nol over there too. . . .

i'm a nanny in a small town to two 2 year olds & a 1 year old.. from 3 different families. i worked at our one & only daycare for over 7 years til it suddenly shut down last august.

it has its ups & downs... i miss adults & keeping my brain stimulated has been a challenge.
but, like now during naptime.. it's so nice & peaceful. and i can take them places, take field trips.
the pay is alright.. nothing like those manhattan prices though. ;)

but i love my "kids".. they're the best!

I might have two siblings right now, just until school ends. They are coming over tomorrow to meet the rest of my family. I can't wait to have kids again to go shopping with me so I can buy them stuff. I really love this woman, we talked on the phone for over an hour last night. HOw exciting.

What I would really love? Is to have a summer camp of sorts, here...with all sorts of ages. Put the older kids in responsible roles as being mini camp directors of a sort. I want a newborn, I want preteens....Kids are perfect. Adults kind of blow.

18 months and 3.5 yo, siblings. Gorgeous little happy kids. I had one come over on Sunday, another 18 month old, a boy....he was the most unhappiest little child I have ever seen. Talk about a child that is worshipped. Ugh! I said to her? Is he always like this? SHe's like, yea, mostly. Jeepers creepers. So sorry, I really can't accept your child.
