View Full Version : why is it?
that I have to drag the kids out of bed 30 minutes after the alarm goes off on school days, but they wake up 30 minutes before the alarm would have gone off on a Saturday?

LOL!!! Same thing goes on in my casa.
My alarm goes off at 6:55 during the week and I have to get Rio up by 7:30 (no later), to make it to school by 8:30 and we are always late... I literally drag her out of bed, then today, Yesmeen begs me to take her to the potty at 6:38am?!?!?!?! I tried to convince her to go back to bed after she peed, but she was up. Then Rio got up a few minutes later... I stayed up late last night watching the Women, thinking I would be able to sleep in...

this is one of the great mysteries of life .. before you ever get a chance to figure it out they become teenagers and they sleep all the time, even on weekends :Phishfolk:

I have no idea, but if we can figure it out we can write a book and make a lot of money off it...

Why is it that I've been up for 8 nights w/ sick kids, had BOTH my girls napping AT THE SAME TIME and I couldn't sleep?!:bang:

I miss sleep.. Since having Gabe I sleep so much lighter than I used to. I wake up at the slightest noise..
And unfortunately, Gabe gets up early no matter if it is a weekday or a weekend.. grrr.. I can't wait for him to sleep in a bit!! I won't know what to do with myself!

Yeah I really haven't slept in 4+ years. You'd think I'd be used to it by now

Lately Maya has been waking up at like 5:45 and either saying Daddy or Mama very loudly until one of us gets her up. Very cute and funny, just not so darn early!!
