I am so sick of hearing people call children BAGGAGE!!!

I mean WTF people you were a child once. Life is incredible and new life is precious. I just don't understand how ANYONE can call any child, no matter how they entered the world or who their parents are, BAGGAGE!!!

Yes I know being single with two kids this is sore spot for me but even when I was married or before I had kids I always hated when people called children baggage. I haven't spoken to my Mother since Xmas because she called my kids baggage. Then I hear it from my guy friends and on the internet and................yeah I just needed to vent :bang:

People who refer to children as "baggage" were most likely treated as such when they were children. Pay them no mind. Delight in your own experiences, it sounds like you're a great mom!

I tend to have guy friends and one of them actually calls them "crumb snatchers". I hit him every time he says this. I think I may have to have a serious talk that he shouldn't talk like that around me. Unfortunaly he will think I'm kidding :lol:
