I have a question about bringing a date to a wedding...

So my friends are getting married next month and I was invited with a date.....

I am single....not really dating anyone...kind of seeing a few people here and there, nothing serious.....

i guess I should respond going solo...

I think I just answered my own question...was wondering if should bring a date...

There is no harm in going solo. Hey! You might even meet someone there that you fancy. :)

if was an invite addressed to you and a guest you can bring someone .. if it was just addressed to you then you are invited solo

She was invited with a date, trying to decide if she wants to go solo or not.

Jen - will there be other people there that you know well enough to be comfortable alone? If yes, then go solo :) If not, I'd bring a "date" even if it's a girlfriend of yours :)

the couple getting married are good friends of mine, and I will now a lot of people there, no big deal going solo...my friend jamie is also going solo, as well as the groom's sister, (whom also is a friend of mine)

Then if you're comfortable going solo, I say go for it :) Just because you were invited with a guest, doesn't mean you have to bring one :)

yeah, save the couple the $ they'd spend on your date's dinner :lol: it doesn't sound like you have anyone in particular in mind-- don't just bring a date for the sake of bringing someone, especially if there will be friends you can hang out with!
