Have you wrote a book?

i've toy'd w/ an idea for a great self help book for new fathers, but besides writing it, I really have no idea what to do w/ it before or after. Meaning can I tell people the title I'd like or should I get it copyrighted first? so on and so on.

Have any of you wrote a book? My uncles a children's author but he paid out of pocket 100%, thats not so much the route Id like to take. :coffee:
