Baseball a.k.a "America's Naptime" needs to be cut down to 50 games a year

and Hockey should only be shown in Canada

but Football is a way of life

that is fine, as long as we do not talk about those asswipe Giants. They are lucky to make the playoffs and sooo lucky last year for sure.

How is the #1 seed in the NFC "lucky" to make the playoffs?:funny1:

Are you just bitter that your Philadelphia Pigeons most likely won't be in the playoffs AGAIN and won't be adding on to their ZERO Super Bowl Wins?

Im bitter because of last year. . . but at this point, I could care less. The Pats are at a point we haven't been in, in a while. Counting on other teams to lose and win so we can make wildcard, damn.

the AFC East is a completely different division than it was last year.

2007:
Patriots 16-0
Bills - 7-9
Jets 4-12
Dolphins 1-15

2008: (as of Week 16)
Dolphins 10-5
Patriots 10-5
Jets 9-6
Bills 7-8

Nobody saw that coming. Although I think everyone thought it was going to be a much more competitive division than '07. There was no way the Pats were going 16-0 even with Brady, that doesn't happen twice. With all the money the Jets spent on free agents and with the addition of Favre obviously they were going to be a much better team. And with the addition of Bill Parcels as the Head of Football Operations in Miami there was no way they were going to have a losing season. As for Buffalo, they could actually repeat their 7-9 performance, although they'll be in last place instead of second.

The NFL had a good year, good competition through out the season with all teams, despite the Lions. Going undefeated again was pipe dream, I would rather have brady back at 80% (fully healed, % being geared toward how well he will be playing with being out for injury) than cassel. We don't really need brady to run, his arm takes care of everything.

That's never going to happen again, it wasn't going to happen this year with or without Brady. If he comes back strong I don't doubt that they can regroup and win another SB or two with the right people staying healthy, but they will never be undefeated again.

the pats need to retool their old and banged up D. even if brady is out again next year, i think the pats take the division with cassel under center. the dolphins showed their true colors with chads 4 INTs today, and the jets wont get any better with or without favre.

The Giants are going to send the eagles home. Luck ? Perhaps some but a great running game and passing game. McNabb will get sacked and nabbed a few times by the D.
