Cole has his first stomach virus

He woke up from his morning nap with a fever of 102.3

My poor little monkey, he's so mushy all he wanted to do today was sit in my arms :undecided:

That's my biggest fear. We've been giving him infant Tylenol, and I've been keeping a cool cloth on his forehead. He's just now starting to drift off to sleep, he's been up all night.

It went down this morning to 98 but now it's back up to 101.6 It got all the way up to 103 last night. (not a good night at all)

He's sleeping now. I just hope tonight is not as bad as last night.

We're in the same boat as you right now- Maya's never had a stomach bug but she got something Sunday night and is still throwing up and not herself. It's heartbreaking as a parent. One nice thing is that I've never had such a cuddly kid. :heart:

not really. I might have to take him back to the doctors again tomorrow.... He's got all four molars coming in on top of this nasty little virus. He woke up at 3am yesterday and didn't go back to sleep until 11am :undecided:

So yesterday morning Cole woke up from his nap with a rash all over his body. I mean it looked like he had chicken pocks or something.

I thought he had an allergic reaction to the medicine the doctors gave him.

I rushed him to the doctors office. It turns out the poor kid has Roseola Virus.

It sucks when your kids get sick,my wife is a R.nurse and it just seems like lately she's been bringing home some bugs and shit from work.My kids immune systems have been getting a work over this winter.

He seems to be doing much better today!!!!
He's eating again and playing more but he's still covered in that awful rash.
