Hey, I'm Jon of the Shred (http://www.wix.com/jonoftheshred/home). I'm looking for musicians in the Worcester, MA area to start a band. I would enjoy working on some original material, maybe some covers. Definitely want to jam out live.
Here are some of my influences to mull over: Deep Purple, Jethro Tull, Iron Maiden, Infected Mushroom, Manowar, Savatage, the Grateful Dead, Meat Loaf, (Ritchie Blackmore's) Rainbow, Symphony-X, moe., SCI, DBB, Lettuce, Soulive, Dumpstaphunk, Pretty Lights, Children of Bodom, Jim Weider's Project Percolator, Randy Newman, Kool and the Gang, Parliament Funkadelic, the Meters, Flight of the Conchords, Tenacious D, DVDA (South Park band), Hot Day at the Zoo, Jabooda, and so many others.
