The day I told Mike we were having a baby girl, once he got his breath back, he said "well, I guess we have to stock up on shot guns and prom dresses" :D She's going to be 4 tomorrow, and I'm having bittersweet heart moments thinking about it.

This is how I wanted her to stay..sweet and innocent..but I shoulda known the future when she was always the naked kid..Don always said that little sweet behavior would catch up to us some day..

Honestly though...she has so many awesome stable cool men and women around her she will know how to carry herself just fine. Being surrounded by music and laughter from the adults in her life has already made her well adjusted....Do any of you feel like surrounding your child with music and its positive effects has shaped them at all?

My girls are 12 and 9. I'm seriously thinking about a Mossberg 500 and some new garden spades.

My son is ridiculously protective of his little sister. No problems here. Anyone eventually eyeing her up is going to have to pass through him first, and he's been over 90% on both the height and weight charts since the get go. It's good to have that buffer on our side.

You are in trouble

I'm in trouble but I got a little lucky because my daughter has my tree trunk legs and chubby knees. I just hope she has like no boobs and a bad acne problem too
