View Full Version : your pets' "full" names
i was talking to leda a couple of weeks ago and we gave each other the full names of (one) of our cats. you know, if you put all the nicknames they've ever had together and form one long name.
my cat luna:
luna, queen of the nuthouse, basement cat, mycat
(she loves hanging out in the basement away from the boycats :funny1: )
red:
mr ritters, the red boycat, stinky ginger balls
(my son's gf named him "mr ritters" which we really didn't like when we got him so we call him "red" but i like calling him boycat. he had the stinkiest farts when we 1st got him  so my husband used to call him "stinky ginger balls" )
tiger:
tiger, "el tigre", little, mookie snarfles
tiger has a runny eye (somehow we ended up calling it "mookie" and he smells everything very loudly and grunts a lot so we nicknamed him "snarfles" )
ok, your turn! :)

my 3 1/2 year old male orange tiger is officially Robin but I also call him My Leetle Hunny Bunny, Scoo Scoo, Scoots, Scootiey, Boo Boo, Boo Bear. He got the nickname Scoo Scoo from the noise he makes when he hauls ass around the apartment on the wood floors (Sc! Sc! Sc! Sc!). He makes snarfing noises too, but when I'm making the bed and he's biting me through the sheet

Like georgi, I too sing to my pets. Back when we had rabbits, a bird and a dog I would sing to the song "Bad, Bad Leroy Brown" substituting their name for Leroy. Then I would wonder why they would all scatter about the house and hide, rabbits thumping their feet. Jim said BAD BAD is not good to sing to the animals... UHOH DUH!

My rabbits, may they RIP, Lefty, Spuds (named after Spuds Mckenzie), and Shermie. Some people thought Lefty and Spuds were awful names for bunnies. Not if they lived with them!
Lefty, Leftoid (Be afraid, be very afraid)
Spuds, Wudser
Shermie, MieMie, Ieny Meeny Miny Moe, Miny, Sherminator, Shermster, Shermaine
it's funny how some names, and some pets, lend themselves to more nicknames than others!
