Ingraining an Illusion
11/11/2009
The wind blows
Contrary to the current
Of the flowing river
Sun shining gives prominence
To ripples rendered
Across the surface
Tension eased
With slight pressures
Varying measures
Of inconstant gusts
Ingraining an illusion
Of up stream movement

Intuition Echoes
8/8/2009 (Desiderata)

Sitting silently I observe
The sensation of feeling
Without a word
It's ubsurd
Intuition echoes
Resonation
In my chest
Nothing less
Than knowing
And oh how I know
The proper direction
I should go
I am facing
No more pacing
To and fro
Onward I go
To reap the seed I sow
No fear
It's clear
And coming quicker
As the plot gets thicker
I remember
The resonating
Echoes embracing
Emulating
Event horizon
'Cause I'm risin'

The Manifestation of Revelation
7/25/2009 (from Sunday @ Vibes)

New Horizions
Building
Before my eyes
My hands shaping
The manifestation
Of revelation
Relating moments
Energy shared
Raising levels
Inhaling intuition
Following dreams
To fruition

Elation
(Right in my Soul)
6/13/2009 {written after a Lettuce show}
The way
You ease it
Right in my soul
I can't help
But lose control
Wrap me up
In your funky fold
Honey I ain't no slouch
On letting the groove take hold
So let me ride it
Just don't drive me
Too slow
Keep a good flow
Make those horns blow
My mind
As I find
The vibe
Making me feel
Wholly alive
With one burning desire
Let me stand
Next to your fire
Burn it bright
Bring those flames higher
Blowing funk
Through speaker wire
Or by any shmeeans necessary
Bringing me home
So artfully
Playing me
Into a dream
As I am
Most certainly
Flloating
Up - up - up
Up above
The ceiling
Sensation reeling
Take - take - take
Take me in
With your sweet love
I am grooving
Horns blare
I am there
In the moment
Thoughtless motion
Sound manifested
Ground tested
Positive
For rock
And roll
That soul
Down the hall
'Cause that's not all
We're havin' a ball
Moving on up
To our destination
Little place I like to call
Elation

Venus Dancing
7/4-5/2009 (Rothbury)

Say-
Have you seen Venus?
This evening
She's dancing
Right in front of you
Love's giddy hippie shake
Live incarnate
