so want to decorate and apartment in the dr suess/whoville etc theme for xmas
i'd like it to be pretty cheap and mostly handmade and original...but i can not think of anything!
help?
i already have a whoville tree

the lack of a 'c' in your title is confusing. At quick glance I thought it said deodorating help.
Was going to suggest a message board frequented by dirty hippies might not be the best place to turn for such advice. :funny1:

if you're artistic enough i'd say painted cardboard standups of the characters are the way to go and maybe set the rest of the scene. cardboard and paint are cheap and easy, some red ribbons and pillow stuffing or batting for snow.

Candy canes and red balls on the tree!!!
Maybe a stuffed-animal dog with a branch tied to his head a la Max dressed up as a reindeer...
If you can borrow an old Singer sewing machine from someone it could be the Grinch's sewing machine that he makes his costume on!
Lots of stockings on the fireplace mantel - make sure there is one for Cindyloo!
And most important of all - post pictures of the results!!! :crazy:
