Where did my 'upload pictures' icon go?

Disappeared a couple weeks ago and it's much easier than photobucket or flickr. Didn't get a warning my privileges had been suspended or anything.:wink:

Top left corner just above your first pict... I think your custom colors you chose are hiding the white lettering of the "upload picture" button

NOPE! Cleared all my settings and restored and saved defaults and its still no where to be found. (It always had been on the lower left with the colors I had and had never changed.)

No biggie, the vibeguides are a bit more permissive than the commercial sites though.:funny1:

OK, On the album page I have the "add album" both upper and lower left (perhaps add pic is likewise, I always seemed to use the lower). Open an album and in the same spots I have a very small spot that changes color and I have a cursor, but no icons, that's about all I can tell ya.:funny1:

Also did you go into your albums or are you just looking at the albums?

Yeah I am going into my albums and nope the little booger still isn't there. As I said I do get a cursor flashing on the left border as if it senses something and I have tried to click even though there is nothing there I can read. (same area where 'add album' is when albums are closed). Sorry I bailed last evening but I am working weekends at the time. (still4am-12:30pm eastern time)

Hey, I wouldn't blame a glich on any human. Pat has been amazing help nurturing a very functional board. I haven't abandoned this puzzle and now have more to the story :rolleyes:.

I've got it narrowed down to a possible connection to a firefox add-on I uninstalled. (smarterfox). But I don't seem to have the link using IE8 or on my alter account (which by the way, the Stark has never posted on (yet:lol: )) but created to compare to here when strange little things like this occur to see if a clean account reflects the same issue.

Was going to try reinstalling smarterfox, but now smarterfox is fastestfox (or something like that) and installing this didn't resolve.

nope:huh: it's got me baffled. It'd be nice to be able to use it it is a great feature but I'm not overly concerned.

Man, I have no idea.... THere is no reason that you cant upload any picts...

So you you have tried firefox and IE and both have this issue and its the same with your alter account?

That takes me to a page with the normal board header with a vBulletin Message

the message in the window is:

"This picture exceeds your total album picture quota by zero."

ok now it takes me to the open album, but still no upload icon
??? I'm clueless. I get ambitious I'll download chrome and see if that makes a difference (don't really see why it would). Nothing I feel like doing a restore over seeing I'm having no other problems.:lol:
