My florist experience.

My golly do they add up quick. over 500 bucks on flowers. HOly shiat. The woman was AMAZING. I absolutely fell in love with her.

I went with a wild looking bouquet of purple things and white things and green things. Hand held with rafia stringy stuff. Orchids and roses and lilacs and such.

I had forgotten 4 people so now I have to downsize somewhere so more can have flowers. I am pretty much getting everyone some kind of flower.

Did I read somewhere that Orchids are pricey? Maybe thats what needs to be cut.

is 120 for a brides bouquet normal? Holy moly. Now that i'm looking at the estimate I don't think I like it.

$500 is a great bargain! Orchids are really expensive. $120 is a good average for a brides bouquet :) It's always the most expensive :)

we did ours with flowers from Trader Joe's and they looked GREAT!

I"m trying to support the local florist is all. I've checked out the local grocery stores and I didn't care for the way they bought and received their flowers. Although they were quite a bit cheaper. They'll be worth the money.

She was a gr8 older woman that does everything herself. She owns and operates. I think thats pretty magnificent and am honored to have the means of supporting that.

Really Wende, that is a great price, with orchids too? Wow! Any other florist (non grocer) would charge you an arm and a leg. Girls on www.theknot.com are getting quotes of $10k for freakin flowers!
