In interviewed a singer last night

by the name of Gretchen Parlato. She mentioned that her father was a jazz bassist. About an hour after I got off the phone with her, I realized she meant Dave Parlato, who played bass on Zoot Allures, Filthy Habits, and Duke of Electric Prunes, and toured with the Petit Wazoo.

Cool, a name that hadn't gone through my mind in years. When I got to the Parlato (after Gretchen) my first thought was 'Zoot Allures'. Amazing how there are tons of shit in your mind that you don't realize you remember.:lol:
