View Full Version : Started reading A Stranger in a Strange land original uncut version
Less than 100 pages in, and it's pretty cool thus far.
Seems to contain elements of gnostic spirituality, and a large view towards political corruption and greed.
This book has it all!
Touches on the theory explored in ChinaCat's published work.
Politics, greed, naivette, innocence, power, the essence of money and beings, the sensing of a cats thoughts...
Completed reading this, and highly recommend it.
The ending became predictible, but did not diminish the story or concepts.

Great book but you can stop right there with Heinlein. He never quite matched that one.

Good to know, thank you.
Last night I started Isaac Asimov's Foundation.

No way. That's my favoritist book EVER. It sucked me in and before I knew it, I'd read the whole quadrilogy.
I want me one of them personal shields.
Oooh cool, thus far it is quick reading.
Nearly half way through the second book in the Foundation series.
Definitely want one of those shields, as well as the probe distortion device.
